Hi, my name is Jacqueline, I live in Halesworth, Suffolk and I have set up my own Home Care enterprise because I have a passion to support people living in and around my community.
A bit about me. I am a Mum of two children who are both at university in London. I was a teacher for many years and during that time I also cared for my Mum with Parkinson Disease and my Sister with early on-set Alzheimer’s Disease. This was both challenging and hugely rewarding and it gave me experience and insight into caring to enable someone to be independent and live in their own home.
I know it can be daunting to reach out for help and let someone new into your home, however I assure you I will always be respectful of your privacy. We will talk about what I can do to support you and what works best for you.
What I can offer you:
A high quality, bespoke service individually tailored to your needs and requirements which we will regularly discuss and update as required.
Nature of Services (can include, but not limited to)
Personal Care:
Washing, bathing, showering, dressing, getting up and going to bed. Care of skin, hair, nails where appropriate.
Social Care:
Listening and talking, keeping you in touch with family and friends with phone calls, letter writing, cards and visits.
Assistance with planning and shopping, paying bills, using a computer or tablet.
Participating in fun activities too eg watching films, playing card games.
Respite and End of Life Care:
Staying during the day or night. Support for you and your family – whatever is needed.
Domestic Care:
Cleaning and housework, laundry and ironing. Caring for pets.
Food preparation in the home.
Garden Care:
Lawn mowing and weeding.
