Big Lunch Extras: A programme to help people create positive change within their communities
Big Lunch Extras is a three-year programme to help people across the UK create positive change within their communities.
This programme is all about inviting people to do something more within their community – and together to start tackling the issues that matter most to them. It aims to help develop people’s skills, build their confidence and help spark new ideas that could make a difference where they live, through :
- a series of inspirational events and residential camps
- free web resources, including some helpful guides
- a community chat area
Big Lunch Extras is delivered by the Eden Project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund and partnered by Halifax, and they are looking for 900 enthusiastic individuals from across the UK who are keen to create change where they live to come on a journey with them.
