Last month, the National Lottery Community Fund (which is the largest community funder in the UK) doubled the amount of funding available to grassroots projects, aiming to strengthen society and improve lives across the UK. The maximum award has been doubled to £20,000, and the time you can be funded for has also doubled to two whole years.
Last year, the National Lottery Community Fund was able to distribute over half a billion pounds (£615.4 million) of life-changing funding to communities.
