Funding available from UnLtd for 16-24 year olds to run a social venture
Spaces for Change (S4C) is a UK wide programme by UnLtd that finds, funds, supports and connects young people aged 16-24 to start and run social ventures that unlock the potential of unused or under-utilised spaces for the benefit of the local community, especially other young people.
Project funding of up to £5,000 is available for young leaders as well as a dedicated Award Manager providing tailored and cohort support, and peer to peer networking opportunities for sharing knowledge and learning.
- EOI Deadline 8th August 2019
- Application Deadline 2nd September 2019
- Final Decision meeting w/c 28th October 2019
Successful applicants so far have included community growing projects, maker spaces, business incubation centres, arts and theatre performance spaces, pay-as-you-feel cafes and food waste projects.
UnLtd would particularly like to hear from young people wishing to transform local green space – this could include community parks and gardens, green spaces on housing estates or wildlife and biodiversity projects in disused green space.
Pre-application support is also available through the UnLtd Spaces4Change team.
