Funding for community projects from The Wakeham Trust
The Wakeham Trust support small scale change through offering grants between £150-2500 to community projects.
Projects the Trust is keen to support include:
- Projects that are too new to get support through established fundraising channels
- Well panned projects that are likely to be self-supporting in future
- Projects that involve groups who are usually considered recipients of voluntary action (for example older people, refugees or young offenders), particularly projects where these people become involved in helping other groups in the community
- Registered charities – though if your group is not yet registered The Trust may still be able to help – find out more (under ‘Does it have a U.K. charity number, or can it find a charity to accept funds on its behalf?)
