Grants for Good

Grants for Good from the Matthew Good Foundation is funded by the John Good Group and is designed to direct funding only to small and growing local charities, voluntary groups, or social enterprises that are making a big impact on communities, people, or the environment.

This is a great opportunity to apply for funding if you are a small enterprise looking for funds for you to continue to support local people in your community.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a local community/charity/voluntary group, or social enterprise that has a positive impact on communities, people, or the environment.
  • Have an average income of less than £50,000 in the last 12 months.
  • Have a bank account in the organisation’s name.

The Grants for Good Fund awards £60,000 in funding per year to 20 charitable organisations. Funding is provided every three months, with five shortlisted projects receiving a share of £15,000. The funding is unrestricted and can therefore go towards any of the organisation’s running costs.

The deadline to apply is 15th June.
