Hi, my name is Benita. I set up Here 4 U (Day Club) so that people dealing with memory loss have a place to meet and make new friends in a welcoming and friendly environment, where everyone is supported and encouraged. At the same time the family carer can take time out or “me time”, knowing that their loved one will be supported to have a great day with lunch, refreshments, and all activities catered for.
Our offer is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am – 3pm.
Our small team pride themselves on creating a kind, caring and respectful space. We want to offer people the comfort of home from home in a different setting, so we provide wonderful home-cooked food and afternoon teas whilst offering a friendly, compassionate listening ear, a space to chat, and opportunities to get creative and share or learn new hobbies in a relaxed environment at the Hillside Community Centre in Combs Ford, 
Stowmarket.
We will be holding a coffee morning (click here for the flyer!) with cakes and a raffle on Wednesday 19 July, 10:30am – 12:00pm, so you can meet the team and find out more about what we
offer. We are delighted to share with you that Elvis (a shetland pony), Bella (a donkey) and Hetty (a chicken) will be joining us from the amazing Gee Gee’s Ranch & Rescue.
