Meeting potential community enterprises in Oxfordshire

Over the last month Catalyst, Anita Wingad has been out and about getting to know her local community and talking about the community enterprise project – supporting local people to set up community enterprises offering care and support to other local people.

Anita attended the Summer Festival at Princess Diana’s park and met some wonderful people all providing fun activities on the day and clearly connecting with the residents. She had a little kick about with a young man who was duly impressed with her football skills – a good way to warm up too!

Anita had about 40 conversations in total with fellow stall holders and attendees to the Festival and had 3 follow up enquiries to the community enterprise project, so a worthwhile event all round! Keep an eye out for new community enterprises joining Small Good Stuff soon!

If you’re interested in getting involved in the project, want to set up your own community enterprise offering care and support or know someone who does, get in touch with Anita here.
