Active Homecare
Active Homecare Ltd was started by myself Laura Hayman in January 2019. I had previously worked within community settings for many years, as a registered community nurse and specialist District nurse, caring for people with all manners of health, social and cultural needs within their own home. I found working within the community setting that personalised community care services were limited, for this reason I wanted to set up my own homecare service that provides safe, dignified, compassionate care to people that wish to have care within the comfort of their own home.
Our small Active Homecare Team support each other like a family, we strive to enhance our carers’ knowledge, further careers and ensure we provide high quality personalised care. We believe in effective communication to ensure each person’s care is personal to them.

I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in Central Bedfordshire - 23/04/2019 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
