Active Homecare logo

Active Homecare Ltd was started by myself Laura Hayman in January 2019. I had previously worked  within community settings for many years, as a registered community nurse and specialist District nurse, caring for people with all manners of health, social and cultural needs within their own home. I  found working within the community setting that personalised community care services were limited, for this reason I wanted to set up my own homecare service that provides safe, dignified, compassionate care to people that wish to have care within the comfort of their own home.

Our small Active Homecare Team support each other like a family, we strive to enhance our carers’ knowledge, further careers and ensure we provide high quality personalised care. We believe in effective communication to ensure each person’s care is personal to them.

We provide support around the following categories (but not limited to):

Dementia Care
Reduced Mobility and Frailty
Physical Disability
Sensory Impairment Support
Palliative Care
End Of Life Care

Personal Care (washing, showering and dressing)
Assistance with medication
Domestic Tasks (cleaning, shopping and attending appointments)

Meal Preparation
Continance Assistance
Changing of Catheter Bags

Our Mission Statement
