My name is Karen, I started working in the care sector when I was 26 with a small family, I very quickly began to enjoy the care work that I was doing, which became my passion. I love to make people’s lives better.

I gained my level 2 NVQ in Health and Social care in 2010, then my City and Guilds apprenticeship level 3 (QCF) in 2014. After 2 decades in the Care sector, I decided to become a Micro Provider to share all that I have learnt over the past 26 years in care, to help people and make their lives better, easier and enable them to remain within their own homes and have a more independent life.

My passion is looking after others and helping to make their lives better, I put 110% into everything that I do, and my reward is seeing the results of my work that has made a contribution in making my clients live their best life.

I have vast experience of working in multiple care environments such as elderly and people with Learning Disabilities, covering all aspects of care such as personal care, 1-1 care and end of life.

My mission is to provide all aspects of care and support with things such as waking nights, sleep ins, shopping, light gardening, days out, appointments and companionship. My values are that my clients come first and that I ensure the care I provide is of a high standard, during my time with them I want to ensure that they are safe and happy.
