Amanda’s Care Services

My name is Amanda and I have worked supporting people in different care settings for over 15 years. I feel very passionately about people having more choice in the care and support that they receive and helping people to stay independent and safe in their own homes.
Over two years ago I set up Amanda’s Care Services and went self employed as a private carer. I offer support for older people and people with a physical or learning difficulty in their own homes or in the community. This support is personalised and tailored to each person’s wants and needs.
I have Level 2 and 3 NVQ’s in Health and Social Care, up to date mandatory training including, Safeguarding, Infection Control, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Equality and Diversity, as well as more specialised training, including dementia training. I have an enhanced Disclosure Barring Certificate and am registered with the Disclosure Barring Update Service and I have Public Liability Insurance. I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society.
I offer a range of help and support to people including;
Help around the home, this could be help with cleaning, light gardening, shopping, paperwork, form-filling.
Help with care, this could include, helping with washing, dressing, helping to eat and drink, meal preparation.
Pet care, this could include, helping walk your dog, cleaning out your rabbits or guinea pigs, feeding your cats and dogs.
Companionship, this could be, helping with social activities at home or in the community.
This is just some of the help and support I can help provide.
Please call or email me to find out more.
