Bonterre CIC

Bonterre CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based a farm, just north of Worcester. Our aims are to improve mental health, confidence and personal wellbeing using the farm, animals and the natural environment. We work with children that have difficulties accessing mainstream education and we run a free open-access community group for adults of all ages.

We know from our own experiences that working in the open air and connecting with other like-minded people has huge benefits for developing confidence and improving mental health. We provide a setting where you can socialise in a relaxed environment, spend some time outdoors in nature and develop some new skills around the farm.

We run a weekly Community Club on Monday afternoons from 3 – 4:30pm, free to join for adults of any age that would like to get involved in the Bonterre project. There’s always plenty to do around the farm, growing fruit, vegetables and flowers or working with our animals and poultry.

We’re keen to hear ideas for community projects to enhance the site too – maybe you’d like to help build a bushcraft camp kitchen, do some group gardening in our sensory garden area or create an obstacle course for the children that attend our programmes.  We’d love to hear your thoughts and see if we can make it happen.

We’ll also have a seated activity each week for those with mobility restrictions, or if you’d just like to join us for a cup of tea and a chat – all are welcome!

There will also be plenty of time to relax, chat and meet other like-minded people in your local community.
