Hello, my name is Nicola and I have been an active community care worker for over 30 years. During this time, I have gained many skills and qualities that have given me the confidence to set up my own micro enterprise business, Buttercup Care.
I set up Buttercup Care to provide a person-centred approach that delivers exceptional care and support to people in their own home, whether this is physical or mental support. I can be flexible with the hours and days with the type of care I give.
Being a family orientated person myself, I understand the importance of family and the family home.
It may feel strange to have someone you don’t know coming into your home, delivering care and sharing personal problems and experiences with, but I can assure you that I have dealt with many situations in the last 30 years and I will respect the rules of your home, beliefs, values and remain totally confidential.
As a carer I believe that it is important to enable you to remain as independent as possible, whilst being there to support you along the way and being able to provide expert care to those of you who are fully dependent on others or some one who just needs a helping hand.
I am passionate about putting the customer and their needs first and every care package will be tailored to suit the individual’s needs.

· NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care,
· NCFE level 3 Certificate in the Principles of End-of-Life Care
· NCFE level 2 Principles of Dementia Care
· St Margaret’s Hospice End of Life Care for Domiciliary Careers
· Nutricia Homeward Peg Care and Infinity Pump training
· Basic First Aid
· Manual Handling
· Administration of Medication
· Within the last 12 months I have attended all mandatory and in house training to meet CQC standards from my previous employment.
