Hello My Name is Gail Russell
I have lived in North Norfolk for over 25 yrs.
I have a variety of experience working with the elderly ,from working for the NHS, Social Services and residential care. I have experience with all levels of care, hoists, dementia /Alzheimers, strokes and M.E, to name just a few.
Duties can include, but are not limited to the ones stated, I am always happy to chat and see if I can help you. Offering night care, day care, all elements of personal care, respite for family members who may be in need of a break or for those who just want to visit without worrying about doing what is required for the person involved and be able to just enjoy spending valuable time with their loved one.
I became a self employed carer because I believe that people should be given every opportunity to remain in their home environment for as long as possible – to maintain independence, dignity and eliminate anxieties and loneliness caused. It may be that the individual only needs a meal cooking, housework, shopping or gardening doing or more help to maintain their own personal care, all these problems and worries can be helped by an extra person being available.
