Back to all providers

Hi, I am a carer that has 17 years’ experience. I hold a  level 2 and 3 NVQ in health care.  I have worked in a variety of different care settings over the years. My clients have varied in ages and ailments  including dementia, strokes and physically frail. I am a hard working, friendly, reliable person who is a good time keeper (I hate being late). I am confident within my work, have a good sense of humour (this helps) and enjoy others’ company. I am a good communicator who is well organised. I am flexible to what times I am able to work, and happy to work weekends and bank holidays. I strongly believe that people should be able to decide how they want to live and I am here to help you carry on living within your own home. I know having a stranger come in to your own home can be daunting for people the first time they meet. I also think it is best to have a meet and greet introduction so that you are able to ask me any questions and I can also find out a bit about you too.

I am happy to complete a variety of tasks from personal care (washing/dressing), administering medication, cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, sitting service as well as taking clients out for trips. I enjoy the challenges of my role this ensures no two days are the same.  I encourage clients to be included and make their own decisions and assist them to do this is the safest way possible. Explaining the possible risks to themselves and others.

Clients that I have previously looked after have said I give them confidence in daily activities and they feel safe that I am looking after them.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to get in touch

Kind Regards

Victoria
