Hi, my name is Carolyn and I started my companionship and home help business in 2022 after being self-employed as a cleaner for twelve years.  I am a friendly, trustworthy and reliable person who enjoys company and socialising. 

Whilst cleaning for my clients I discovered that they needed help with other things, from helping them to use a computer to taking them out shopping.

 I no longer offer regular cleaning visits but instead offer help in other ways.  My work now involves a large variety of things including, but not limited to:

• Companionship in the home, simply having a chat over coffee or playing games
• Taking clients out for shopping, appointments or leisure
• Decluttering and organising storage in the home (inc. selling unwanted goods/taking them to charity shops)
• Helping with paperwork, household bills and telephone calls
• Changing bed linen
• Organising possessions following a bereavement

If you would like to go out or have some company or help at home, then please do get in touch to see if I can be of assistance to you.  I currently have availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays and my hourly rate is £15.

My past work has included office administration, food retail and self employment a registered childminder.  I have also enjoyed several volunteer roles during the past 30 years, working with schools, youth groups, Parish Councils, community groups and as an NHS volunteer during the Covid pandemic.

I have a current DBS certificate, public liability insurance and am insured for business use on my car.
