Catherine Clark Care and Support

Hello my name is Catherine and I’m a registered micro provider with Somerset County Council. I have 12 years care experience.   I love meeting people and assisting them to live their best lives by offering a person- centred service which gives choice and control over the support they need. I’m friendly, respectful, compassionate and professional and always aim to deliver the service standards that I would expect for my own family. I have undertaken the following trainings to guide and inform my practise of care –

 I am currently studying yoga and am about to start my yoga teacher training.  I offer Reiki energy healing. 

I am happy to meet with you and/or your friends/family to discuss your care requirements.

I am ready, willing and able to assist you in the following –

Animal care – I can walk your dog and cats, and give them plenty of exercise groom and ride your horses and feed sheep these are important members of the family too!
Companionship – happy to sit with you and a cuppa or to relieve a current carer who may need an hour or two off with a sitting service.
Driving/ Transport – I can take you shopping, to appointments or to meet up with friends. I can also do grocery shopping or run errands for you if you prefer/need to stay at home. I hold a full, clean driving licence.
Hobbies – I can help with puzzles, crafts, reading, walking, swimming, singing, leisure and wellbeing activities.
Light Housework – Laundry, bed making, dusting, vacuuming, washing up, tidying up.
Meal preparation – I am classically French trained and absolutely love cooking.
Food safety level 2 & Allergy Awareness – June 2020
Paperwork/admin – help with filing, paying bills, organising receipts, some basic computing help, etc.

My aim as a carer is to help the people to maintain their independence in their own homes.
I’m kind, caring, compassionate, friendly, trustworthy, punctual and polite.
I pride myself in providing a person centred approach to the care I provide and would consider myself to be very flexible and open minded.
