Care and Support Champions

My name is Annick, and I started my own micro enterprise called Care and Support Champions to make a difference in my community.  For me caring and supporting people to stay as independent as possible is very personal.  I have cared for my own family members, and I feel strongly that everyone deserves the standard of care we would expect for our own loved ones.

At Care and Support Champions we know that everyone is different which is why we take our time to get to know you and your care or support needs.  We will work with you to know your likes and dislikes, what support you need and how we can best achieve the best outcome.  We will agree on a support plan based on the understanding that things can change, and it needs to be right by you.

Having worked in hospitals, nursing homes and the community for the last 20 years, I realise that it is difficult to get the right help, at the right time by the right person.  At Care and Support Champions, we try our best to be flexible around your needs, which could be a trip to the shops, running a hoover around, or help with the more personal aspects of care and support and achieve best outcome for your goals.

It might be just the comfort of knowing someone is there, and a friendly ear.  I know how hard it is having people come in your home which is why we promise to keep your personal details confidential and to always respect your privacy. Communication is very important to us, so we will always tell you if there are any changes and would like to know how you feel about our support.

I have experience of working with people living with dementia, mental health, ABI (Acquired Brain injury), learning disabilities, autism and others please contact us for more details.

I am fully insured, have a DBS check and references from people who are happy to share experiences of my support.
