We are a community of people who can help you cope with life’s challenges and opportunities. We offer a variety of activities and events that can boost your skills, confidence, and well-being.
CHICK was founded by Ada and Dee, two friends who live in Canterbury. They wanted to use their experiences and skills to help others facing similar challenges. They started by organising weekly walks, open to anyone who wants to enjoy the fresh air and improve their physical and mental health. They called them MAD CHICK WALKs (Make a Difference walks).
They also created Empowering You meetings called Cognitive Coffee Circle, where anyone can join and enjoy personal development sessions, workshops, courses, and training. Whether you want to chat over coffee, enjoy nature walks, or participate in these sessions, you will find something that suits your interests and needs.
CHICK is also where you can be yourself and feel accepted and valued. We want to create a safe and inclusive space where you can express yourself freely and authentically. We want to connect you with others who share your struggles and aspirations. We want to empower you to achieve your personal, professional, and relational goals.
