Cloverglen is a provider of work and leisure based activities for the over 16s, we grow a wide range of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers in the walled garden at Amisfield Tower near Dumfries. We have recently extended the project and we are now working in partnership with the Shambellie House Trust to maintain the grounds at Shambellie House which is located in the historic village of New Abbey near Dumfries. We are working with the trust to develop a range of craft based leisure/learning opportunities for people from disadvantaged groups.
In addition to our day service we provide non personal support again to over 16s, this is aimed at individuals who need support to live independently within the community.
We also facilitate trips to events, these have included The Goodwood Festival of Speed, Gardeners World Live, Christmas at the Botanical Gardens and the BBC Good Food Live.
All of what we do is service user led with the staff team providing support and acting as facilitators.
