I have worked in the NHS for 20 plus years on ward work with older people and for the last 2 and a half years with adults with a learning disability.
I am a sole trader offering companionship, help with shopping, trips out, accompanied hospital or doctors appointments , friendly chats, help with bills and filling in forms, benefit claims, light housework, light gardening duties, and visiting other groups.
I also support people in the community with their day to day needs, whether it is housework, shopping, keeping their appointments, and helping them with their correspondence if they need my support.
In addition I support people with hoarding problems so that they are not at risk of losing their home and keeping their homes or being at risk from hazards such a fire risk. Their wellbeing is hugely satisfying for me when I work with them.
Anyone can hit a crisis in their lives, and that is why I like to do what I can so that people can stay in their homes longer.
I accept private and direct payments customers, and my charges are £15.00 per hour.
I am DBS checked, NVQ trained, and fully insured.
