I am a male carer living in Banbury. I am a kind and compassionate carer with over 10 years’ experience and I treat my customers with respect and patience. I am able to communicate and understand people in need.
Experienced: – Elderly, teenager, mental health, dementia, end of life, learning disability.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, and up to date trained.
I provide support in:
Practical tasks such as tidying the house, doing washing, ironing, paying the bills, cooking meals, shopping
Personal care including dressing, washing, lifting, giving medication or collecting prescriptions, attending doctors’ appointments
Emotional support such as providing a listening ear, giving support and advice, giving reassurance
Waking night support
Monitoring individuals’ conditions by taking their temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and possibly helping with medication.
Supporting people with eating and drinking and much more.
I have experience as a Health Care Assistant working in hospitals, residential homes and private houses, with physical and learning disabilities, older people in their day-to-day needs, end of life, respite, families going through social and economic issues.
Thanks to all these experiences, I have developed strong caring competencies and good interpersonal skills.
I am more interested in waking night support, even though I can cover some day.
