Equanimity offers equine-assisted therapeutic learning with a small herd of Icelandic horses on the West Dorset/East Devon/South Somerset border.
Equanimity sessions offer a safe space to explore emotions and issues and can help for example with anxiety, low confidence, communication, indecision, self-esteem and autism-related issues.
Equanimity is creative, intuitive and very supportive, connecting people and horses and the great outdoors! Sessions are individual, or in pairs or small groups.
Charlie Barrett runs Equanimity and is accredited (with LEAP Equine), she is DBS checked and fully insured as an EFL (Equine Assisted Learning practitioner).
Charlie is also training to be a mainstream counsellor which greatly enhances her practice, and is a student member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
