Forget me not

Hello, my name is Lucy, I’m a mother to 3 grown up children and a housewife of 23 years and counting. I have been a domestic cleaner for the last 4 years and have enjoyed providing this service and getting to know my clients but now I feel I’m ready to branch out.

I’ve started up Forget Me Not Home Care Home – a small business set up to offer companionship, practical support and housework. I started this business because I want to help. I’m friendly, kind, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, patient, caring and a good listener, all attributes I believe will make this business a success. I enjoy being around and working with people, spending time listening, chatting, helping and getting to know them and hearing their stories, opinions and views.

I’m based in Stradbroke, Suffolk and work within a ten mile radius.

The following is a list of services I provide – (anything else you require can be discussed)

Companionship – spending time together doing what you enjoy. Whether that’s going somewhere you like, having a good natter over a cuppa, enjoying an activity or craft, listening to music/watching a favourite tv show or something else entirely.

Practical support – medication ordering and pick ups, help with arranging and taking you to appointments and social groups, help with online shopping or going to the shops, keeping in touch with family and friends either through going online or writing letters and cards.

Housework – washing and ironing, bed making, light cleaning, hoovering & mopping, dusting & polishing, decluttering and getting rid of any unwanted items.
