The name of our company speaks for itself. We named our company ‘friendly’ because being friendly to someone costs nothing, yet it is the first thing that we do when we meet people , the moment we say “hello” with a smile I can say that person is friendly. I would be willing to let that kind of person in my house or willing to talk to them further than a grumpy person.
We are a small organisation. Our aim is to help or offer our services to people in our community. It might be just help to get up in the morning with a cup of tea and have something to eat or help with washing and dressing to start your day.
Living on your own can sometimes be lonely, sometimes we need that person to share a natter with, “companionship” or help with laundry and shopping. Friendly Community Care provide “sit in” with your loved ones while you do some errands.
Friendly Community Care also offers support to people with learning disability and mental health issues to live independently in their homes and their day to day lives . We can help with personal care (bathing, washing, brushing their teeth), or just give them a nudge to to things for themselves. We can accompany them either to appointments, schools, day centre or just meeting their family or friends.
The services we offer are all guided by YOU. We involve you and the people that you care about to be in your care. You lead we follow.
If you need someone to live with your loved one we offer live in services. Our staff have been provided with training to support people who are having mental health issues such as dementia.
