Fundamentals has been set up by the parent of a child with a disability to offer opportunities where people with a disability can learn skills in a fun way.
While Fundamentals is not about teaching someone to be a hairdresser, we use the salon environment for meaningful day opportunities where the emphasis is on fun and being part of the community.
Our holistic approach uses the fundamental principles of business and hairdressing to develop each person’s communication and person presentation skills and to improve their self-esteem and confidence.
We aim to work with people to help them meet person goals, make friends, be part of and contribute to their community, and most of all to have fun…
