Good Wholesome Food

Contact details

Good Wholesome Food became a provider of Meals on Wheels in 2012 –  the only provider who offered to deliver hot meals daily to the elderly, infirm and those returning from hospital who required this essential service.  Their only alternative is to purchase frozen or chilled meals and heat them but this is impossible for many of the vulnerable client base we serve.

Among our customers are sufferers of dementia, Huntingdon’s , Parkinson’s, blindness, deafness and  very limited mobility.  Our customers rely on our service as without us many of them would not be able to live independently in their own homes.

I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in Norfolk - 25/09/2019 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
