Green Shoes Arts

Green Shoes Arts CIC is a community multi-arts organisation based in Barking & Dagenham committed to providing creative opportunities that are positive, challenging, inspiring and fun.

Founded in early 2009 we have established a reputation for developing and delivering original, exciting and inspiring arts programmes and have established a proven track record of working successfully both independently and in partnership with local and national organisations.

Our participant-led projects give disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults the opportunity to access a wide range of creative art forms, that develop their skills and knowledge in a safe, supportive and friendly environment.  Green Shoes Arts are committed to reflective practice and our ongoing evaluation processes ensure that all our activities are tailored to both individual and whole group needs.

Since 2009 Green Shoes Arts projects and performances have reached over 2000 members of our community, either as participants or audience members.

We run a variety of ongoing workshops and short projects for disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults and people living with mental health problems and all details can be found on our website. www.greenshoesarts.com

Also found on our website is, THE GREEN HOUSE, an online platform full of creative activities for people of all ages to try at home. The Green House is a place to grow, with a broad range of fun and engaging activities that are updated regularly, sourced from our own artists and links to the wider arts and cultural community.
