Happy To Help

Hello, my name is Heather, my background for the last 35 years has been within the health & social care sector and held trustworthy positions with local Council authorities for over 28 years.

Following a passion for working hands on with people in their own homes and their local area to provide practical help to support their wellbeing at home, I have recently set up my service Happy to Help.

Happy to Help provides a professional friendly service with high standards of practical care & support needs whatever they may be.

I gained valuable knowledge and experience working with adults of all ages within the community such as the difficulties they’ve faced managing their health & wellbeing, managing the practical jobs within their homes, getting out & about and having their voice heard.

I learnt that quite often once the “small practical but much needed stuff” had been addressed for the person or the home, then long-term Care package “big stuff” were not always required.

Happy To Help offers a wide range of practical help including:

  • Cleaning – regular, spring clean, de-clutter
  • Shopping – Food, clothing, household items & appliances. I will shop for you or take you
  • Errands – Prescription collection, banking, Post office. I will go for you or take you, bill paying, admin & phone calls.
  • Chaperone – to attend appointments, trips out, lunch outings, visit family or companionship
  • Gardening – weeding, pruning, general tidy round
  • Laundry – washing, drying, collection & delivery

I hold an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured with references available

I am happy to have an informal chat to discuss your requirements anytime on 07941915223.
