Happy to Help Home Care Services

My name is Liz and I have set up Happy to Help Home Care Services to help provide the best help and support for adults in my local community.

I have over 15 years experience in the social care sector and gained a lot of knowledge along the way. I am a qualified Social Worker and have worked with all age groups throughout my career.  Most recently working with Age UK supporting those living with Dementia.

Closer to home I have experience of supporting someone with Parkinson’s and Dementia..

Services I offer:

  • personal care
  • domestic help
  • gardening
  • preparing meals/baking
  • shopping either with you or for you
  • craft sessions
  • dog walking
  • companionship

Areas I cover:

Claston, Copmanthorpe, Dunnington, Earswick, Easingwold, Flaxton, Gate Helmsley & Upper Helmsley, Haxby, Holtby, Huttons Ambo, Knapton, Murton, Naburn, Nether Poppleton & Upper Poppleton, Osbaldwick, Sand Hutton, Shipton, Skelton, Stockton on the Forest, Strensall, Tollerton, Wiggington, York and local parishes.

Helping to look after my Dad and listening to him talking about his life, I understand how difficult it can be losing your independence and the importance of being there for just a chat or knowing that someone is coming in to help and support you with your daily life.  Ask away and I will listen to you and support you with what ever task you need help with.

I know it might be hard to let a carer into your home and to share personal details.  I guarantee your privacy and respect will be foremost in my work with you.

I am motivated, caring, positive and fun loving and like to make a difference for people whenever possible.

My passion is baking and believe a cuppa and a slice of cake can always make life feel that little bit better.

Give me a call I will be Happy To Help
