Hi! My name is Gugu. I have over 15 years’ experience in the health and care sector. Most recently I have worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for 2 years as an Anaesthetic Practitioner. I have experience working with sick children, young people, adults, older disabled people, in the mental health sector as well as in learning disability. Therefore I can relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds. I am passionate about giving care and confident in my ability to support you with daily tasks and living.
My aspirations are to help you reach your goals and support you with what is important to you. In my spare time I enjoy reading, outdoor travelling, spending time with my family and participating in community projects. I also enjoy learning new skills; I am currently venturing in complementary therapies, counselling and foot health care and hope to add these to my list of services. I am registered with Community Catalysts and am a member of National Association of Care and Support Workers. I have full liability insurance and an enhanced DBS and am registered with Health Care Professional Council.
