My name is Ruth and I have worked in the education sector for last ten years. I have taught a variety of subjects to all ages in both mainstream secondary and primary schools as well as teaching children and adults with special needs. I am very aware and have a good understanding of the problems many individuals face in their lives on a day-to-day basis, and this has prompted me to look for a change of career where I am able to offer my support and help to others.
I wish to pursue a role within the community helping people with a service tailored to individual needs.
This includes help with shopping, preparing healthy meals, light housework, gardening, getting out and about, finding new hobbies, socialising, making new friends or just company to chat or go out for a walk, a coffee, or a drive.
I look forward to meeting you.
I am based in Aberdare, but I am willing to travel further afield.
Areas: Areas include all of Aberdare, Hirwaun, Penywaun, Cwmdare, Cwmbach. Rhigos, Penderyn and Mountain Ash

I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in Rhondda Cynon Taff - 12/12/2023 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
