Heydays Day Services

Heydays Day Services offers older people a warm and friendly opportunity to socialise and take part in a range of activities which enhance well-being and stimulate the mind and senses.

A full day is available from 10.00 am to 3.30pm each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in Hucknall and each Friday in Gedling. Morning tea and hot buttered toast and a catch up chat with friends, afternoon refreshments are offered together with a hot nutritious 2 course hot meal for lunch Which is freshly cooked and deliver by the local British Legion .

You also have the lower cost option of attending for half a day.

The range of activities offers includes the following and if there is anything else that you would particularly like to have a go at, then please ask and we will work with you to try and make this possible.

We aim to give people aged 65 and over the opportunity to:

Heydays Day Services is run by Charmaine and Jane both of whom have 30 years experience of working in day care with older people and persons living with dementia.  Both Charmaine and Jane are DBS checked, have NVQ level 4 in Social Care and Health, and have also undertaken various training courses.

We understand this can be a difficult time looking for extra support if and when the time is right please contact us for information and we will be happy to have a chat ,or pop in for a cuppa and a chat about your requirements, we take pride in offering a quality service. We have the continuity of three staff who support the service so we build a great rapport  with members . We offer a first day trial day for £5 which includes a hot meal at lunchtime .
