My name is Irum Hanif
I have worked as a carer/support worker for over 3 years now but I also have 1 sibling with ADHD and 2 siblings with autism. My daughter is also autistic. I have always cared for them so I’ve actually always been a carer from a very young age.
I have also worked with adults with learning difficulties/mental health, anxiety, depression and Down Syndrome, Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s. I am very confident with using a hoist. I have many years of experience working with people with cerebral palsy and one with a feeding tube and breathing tube. I am self employed now. I love what I do, specially when people tell me they have found me a great support at their time of need. I love giving back and find it an absolute joy supporting people in the community and their families, knowing I am making a difference to their every day lives.
I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge over the years in care and support.
I have learnt each individual is unique to their needs and every day is a learning curve. I love meeting new people and facing new challenges.
I’m a happy, bubbly person who loves to socialise. I have been in Banbury for 17 years now.
I love supporting people with their everyday tasks and activities and for them to maintain as much independence as possible. I promote encouragement with lots of emotional support and person centred care. Care is something I am very passionate about and making a difference in people’s lives.
I have business insurance, liability insurance, enhanced DBS and all my training up-to date.

I can support you with companionship, prompting medication, appointments, emotional support, personal care, days out, meal prep, light household duties with care and compassion, socialising and shopping , making calls & booking appointments along with accompanying you to them. I can support you with activities of your choice with days out in the car for out of area activities. I have experience in palliative care & end of life care. This list is not exclusive.
