Hummingbird Care

Hello, and thank you for taking a look at my profile.

My name is Wendy Edwards, a young 60-year-old that’s full of fun and laughter.

For the past 25 years of my employment, I have worked in hospitals/nursing homes as a nurse, and support care worker.

I am very experienced in care work with both the elderly and fully trained in looking after special needs children. I love to give the children/young adults a fun time out, while their families take a well-earned rest.

Supporting the elderly to live in their own homes is also very important to me, supporting them to keep their own independence as much as possible brings me much joy  🙂  Supporting to wash, dress, and preparing meals, or taking them shopping/day trips out, would be a pleasure.

I am fully insured, with up-to-date DBS, First Aid Certificate, as well as other training, all available to see if required. I have a car with the appropriate business insurance and have been driving for over 40yrs, so I am a very experienced driver with no points on my licence.

I wish you well and look forward to assisting you in the future.

Take care, best wishes,

Wendy
