After 10 years working as a care worker I decided to step up my own community micro enterprise called iCare Home. iCare Home is different to other care providers, I help in what works best for you, that’s include socialising with friends and family, help in and around the home and garden as well as personal care. I provide care and support that you want at a time and in a way that suits you. I am multilingual (English, Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Hindi) and fully aware of the cultural needs of the local community. I have been through the Community Catalysts programme in North Yorkshire - 19/06/2020 Community Catalysts runs a local development programme in the area where this entrepreneur is operating that offers help, advice and support to local people. As part of this programme this enterprise/venture has signed up to the Doing It Right Standards. This does not mean that they have been accredited or approved in any way by the local council or by Community Catalysts and people should continue to do their own checks.
