Support services delivered by those who care
Sometimes the simple things in life can be overlooked and quite often our own independence does not give cause for concern until there is risk of losing this altogether. In Friendship Care & Support Service offers clients the assistance they require to maintain their health, general well-being and help to live a normal life which they might have previously taken for granted.
In Friendship and our small team of experienced Care & Support Workers prides itself in delivering high quality, compassionate, client-led, home-support services to older people living in Oxfordshire and West Berkshire.
We deliver a full range of home care services for clients who may no longer be able to live a full quality of life. The role of a Care & Support Worker is extremely varied may include assisting a client inside and outside of their home with the following:
We only appoint staff which share in our core values and adopt these from the very first moment they meet our clients. Provision of high quality, trustworthy and compassionate care is of utmost importance and our clients should expect nothing less.
We will introduce you to a Care & Support Worker face to face (or via video call) so that you can ensure there is a personal connection, shared interests and a personality fit before you make a decision.
We ensure that our Care & Support Workers have a minimum of two years of professional experience and an up-to-date enhanced DBS check. We interview them face to face, verbally review references and ensure they are fully trained in First Aid.
It is important to advise that our services fall outside of CQC regulated activities (https://www.cqc.org.uk/guidance-providers/registration/regulated-activities). However, our Care & Support Workers will be able to prompt and supervise clients with delivery of their own personal care.
