JentleHands

We are a small community based company made up of two members of staff and between us, we have over 20 years of experience of supporting and caring for people.

Our mission and values are in tune with the personalisation of care and promoting a strong person centred approach, ensuring that people’s choices, rights and dignity are at the forefront of everything we do.

From initial contact, we feel it is vital that everybody, including families are actively involved to ensure that we are meeting  people’s individual needs and that we are proving the correct support to each person who uses our services.

We work with older people and people living with dementia and we can help in many different ways enabling and assisting people with their day to day activities. These include: welfare and support visits, housekeeping (general housework, laundry, changing of bed linen), assisted shopping, companionship and escort to appointments and we can even assist with dog walking.

While our service does not include personal care at the present time, our future development plans include the possibility of adding personal care to what we offer and becoming registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care to people in their own homes.
