Hi my name is Jussy Baird

I am a 50 year old woman who has recently retired after working for 30 years as police officer. I have a wealth of experience in helping vulnerable people and individuals with special needs, in both my professional and private life.

I have a 21 year old daughter who is autistic and has significant care and social needs. I am friendly, reliable and trustworthy and would like to offer a unique service to people in the community.  Caring and supporting others is my passion and I now have the time provide this bespoke service.

Juss, there to care, is a business I have created which will enable me to provide a service that allows you to feel safe and confident in the choices you make. I can offer a personalised package of support for you with your daily life ranging from cleaning, cooking, gardening, shopping, companionship, helping you to gain the most out of each day, all provided with a smile and friendly, chatty approach.

Coming from a policing background I understand that it can be difficult for people to trust others and allow strangers into their lives. With Juss, there to care you can   feel completely confident that your with someone who only has your best interests at heart and has the upmost respect for your dignity and personal information.

My ultimate aim is to provide you with the support you need, accompanied by the highest level of one to one quality time.

I offer a flexible, responsive, person-centred support service that gives people choice and control over the support they would like.

The services I offer include:

  • Companionship
  • Shopping, running errands (either with you or for you)
  • Appointments or accompanied local trips out
  • Sitting services
  • Meal preparations and cooking for fun
  • Supporting to help you get out and about, maintaining interests, hobbies, leisure activities and social opportunities.
  • Cleaning, including deep spring clean, de-cluttering and organising. Helping to make the impossible task seem entirely manageable…and possibly even fun!
  • Help with paperwork
  • Gardening
  • Light maintenance/DIY jobs
  • Help with computer/internet
