Kate Stanforth Academy of Dance

Kate Stanforth Academy Of Dance – An inclusive dance school where everyone can have the opportunity to dance.

I was training to be a professional ballet dancer when I suddenly became unwell. I spent years too poorly to even think about dance, but when my health improved slightly the first thing I wanted to do was get back in the studio. I started teaching from my wheelchair, gained my associate teaching qualification with distinction and built my career around my love of dance. My main goal is to make the dance industry more accessible. I’ve been blessed to work with large brands and even travel doing what I love. Now, I’m really excited to open my dance academy and continue my venture to help everyone access dance.
