Kindness and Wellbeing Group

We would love you to join our Kindness and Wellbeing Group based in Dartford. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends over a cuppa and enjoy loads of crafts and activities for just £3 per week. I’ve got a great deal of experience with mental health, chronic illness and disability. When I realised there was a big gap in services to support people, in a fun, friendly and age appropriate way, I decided to set something up. We welcome everyone. (All ages are welcome though under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). We have members aged around 3 to 83 and everyone enjoys a natter and the activities on offer.

I totally understand how hard it is to get out the house and join a new group, so we can support you to feel welcome before you even come to the door. We have a private WhatsApp member group and a Facebook group specific to the Kindness and Wellbeing Group too, so you can make friends before you even step foot in the door.

The venue is fully accessible and has a disabled toilet. We have a broad range of craft activities available to suit a huge range of needs and interests from knitting to papercrafts and clay to diamond painting and etching to colouring and much, much more. We also have games, puzzles plus mental health and wellbeing resources. Plus, since the nominal £3 fee is reinvested into the group, we are constantly updating and improving what’s available to meet the needs of our members.

We have fundraising merchandise on sale every week and a monthly raffle. Proceeds go to Kindness Community CIC to help send care packages and mental health packs to people in need.

All activities, resources and even the tea or coffee are included in the £3 fee. We take cash and card payments.

Come any time between 9.30-11.30 every Tuesday. Laura will be waiting for you right by the door to show you around. We can’t wait to meet you.
