Hi, I’m Emma. I have worked within the health care sector for 15 years , 13 years of which was as a Registered Mental Health Nurse within the NHS and private services. I have 5 years’ post-qualified experience of working with older people.
I work with both older and younger adults. I believe people should be able to live in their own homes for as long as possible and I’m passionate about providing them with the person-centred care and support to do so. I provide personal care, companionship, cleaning services, and can provide access to the community with my own transport.
I have experience of working with people with:
Dementia and Hoarding Disorder/Issues, Substance Misuse, Anxiety and Depression, Learning Disabilities, Psychosis, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury, End-of-life needs, Physical Health Issues and Mobility needs.
I am available Monday to Sunday for days, night shifts and sleep overs.
My rates are inclusive of travel within York and the immediate surrounding areas.
I am up to date with all mandatory training. Evidence of this can be provided upon request.
I can provide evidence of professional and business insurance, references and current enhanced DBS. I have policies and procedures in place and a full driving licence and car insured for business use.
My assistance, care and support are available to all adults 18+.
