Kingfisher Care Services is a care provider in York, owned and run by myself, Sarah.

I have 25+ years’ experience within the care sector, having specialised in palliative care and life limiting illnesses for over 12 years of that time.

I am upbeat, friendly and dedicated to my role and love working 1-2-1 with individuals to positively enhance their lives and help maintain their independence and enabling them to remain in their preferred place of care – at home.

I work closely with families and the individual to ensure I provide care that is tailored to individual needs. I’m always ready to change my approach and the care I give based on people’s needs on each given day to get the very best out of every day.

I provide any personal care that may be required and always to the highest level, as if the individual was my own family, with the utmost dignity, respect, support and love. I never rush or hurry anyone along and ensure I go at their pace.

Whether the individual needs personal care, domestic tasks and support in the home including budgeting, diary management or household tasks  to assistance to access the community or going to appointments etc. it is always done with a smile.
