Kinnin Care

Our aim at Kinnin Care is to help you to enjoy the kind of wellness that you want to achieve. We do that by discussing with you what your needs are and how they can be met, through specific support, companionship, outings, movement and therapy . We also offer group meditation or yoga. Our services can be provided in your own home, care home or supported living arrangement.
Our focus is entirely on your individual needs. For that reason we will always spend time getting to know exactly what is required, be that a chat over a coffee once or twice a week, or planning a wellness session to assist in movement and mobility and relaxation, or going out for the day. The choice is yours.
We believe that age and individual differences should be celebrated and that everybody should be able to enjoy living happily, comfortably and independently free from abuse and discrimination.
We have a wealth of experience in social care spanning 35 years. This has ranged from community care projects for people with learning disabilities, supporting people in their home who are living with brain injury or dementia and working in adult social care teams. We have been offering yoga, meditation and Reiki for over 15 years in various settings: ranging from classes in village halls or community centres and clubs for people who are struggling with mental health.
We offer a sitting service for older people which aims at providing respite for other family members, or live in carers, who may need a short break for the day or a regular break.
Our companionship services aim to prevent people experiencing loneliness. We can sit and chat in your home or out in a coffee shop. We value your privacy and anything that we talk about will be confidential.
We also recognise the significance of engaging in meaningful activities and promoting occupational health. We are skilled in organising stimulation activities tailored to your interests and abilities. Whether it’s engaging in light exercise or assisting with occupational therapy exercises, we aim to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Friendly, kind and nurturing care preventing isolation and loneliness, offering stimulation and support tailored to your interests to enable you to continue living the life you love at home or wherever you call home.
We also provide companionship in care homes for people who want to have visitors or want to get out for a few hours.
We can provide mental capacity assessments, COP 3 forms, testamentary capacity assessments and certificate provider. We provide this as registered social worker.
The services described are not exhaustive, so please ask if there is anything else you would like support with.
