Life Beyond Anxiety
Hi, I’m Kes,
I’m a trained counselling therapist, and I work mainly with individuals suffering with anxiety. I have experience working with adults and young people who have received ADHD and/or autism diagnoses, elderly people in care, LGBTQ+ folks and refugees.
Whatever may be making you feel worried or distressed, it’s natural to need some time and space, and good quality support sometimes. Entering into therapy is often one of the best ways to recover a sense of calm and to de-stress. Counselling is time just for you to tend to your thoughts and emotions, so you can feel less overwhelmed and confused, and more empowered and hopeful about your life at the moment.
To receive counselling by phone, all you would need to do is find a safe, quiet space to talk, and we can chat once a week or so for as long as it is suitable for you. You will have the opportunity to feel listened to and understood, and to accept your feelings and understand yourself better. You may gain fresh insights, a new outlook and start to take action to feel calmer and more at ease in your day-to-day life, boosting your overall wellbeing.
You may book 1 – 3 counselling sessions, or receive longer-term therapy for up to 20 sessions or more. Counselling sessions may be arranged for half-hour to an hour as preferred by you. Please feel welcome to get in touch to find out if we’re a good match. 🙂
