Life Long Song

Contact details

Life Long Song Ltd works across the generations.

We are a Chorley, Lancashire based social enterprise company responding to the need for high quality active music available to young and old.  Janet Wright and Alison Maze began providing active workshops in day care and residential settings, and in 2016 won an award from Adactus Housing’s Breathe Investment Grant.  This work is on-going and Life Long Song is keen to partner in more care settings.

We run a weekly music for babies session, which is a fun and stimulating session where parents and carers can socialise and share quality music activities with young babies.

Some very creative and musically adventurous older people come together on market day in Chorley for an active and supportive workshop session.  With a wide variation of musical backgrounds and experience, they sing and play some very accessible musical instruments in a warm and friendly environment.

Volunteer involvement is encouraged and the plan is to provide more opportunities for music making in our town.
