Hello, my name is Gemma Gibbons and I have set up my own care company “Little Gems” after working in the care sector for many years.

I have lived in Somerset all my life and have good knowledge of the local area, I enjoy nature and am very passionate about my job role.

I have 7 years experience within the care industry, including working with End of life, Dementia, Stroke patients, Physical disabilities, Learning disabilities and many more.

I offer care and support so you can live as independently as possible, in the comfort of your own home.

My services include:

• Personal care
• Domestic duties
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Shopping trips
• Sitting service / companionship
• Attending appointments.

These are offered with you in mind. I cover a wide area from Bridgwater to Burnham-on-sea  including  local villages.

The care plan is built and tailored to the individuals needs and requirements, promoting independence and offering a free 30 mins consultation with no obligation.

I have my own transport which is covered with business insurance, public liability insurance and am DBS checked. I have got certificates in Dementia awareness, Food hygiene, Infection control, Medication safety, Moving and handling, Safeguarding, Fire safety and First aid.
