I am a new community micro-provider based in Wincanton, Somerset. I support people with physical or mental health needs in their own homes and in the community. I have 23 years experience in primary care services, I have experience in caring for the elderly, palliative care needs and clients with learning disabilities. I am DBS checked, have public liability and business insurance. I cover Wincanton and the surrounding areas.
I very much believe that just because a person is getting older, has physical disabilities or mental health issues it doesn’t mean that they are unable to continue living at home with a fulfilling life. I am able to tailor all care to be personal and keep daily routines as normal as possible. I appreciate it is not easy to accept support when you have been so independent for so long but please rest assured that your dignity and wishes are my priority.
My aim is for you to live in your home safely and healthily by providing support with your day to day needs such as personal care, domestic care, meal preparation/cooking, sitting services, household administration, companionship and basically anything that makes your daily life a little easier. I am also able to assist you to enjoy your life outside of your home with shopping, outings and assistance with appointments.
