Mindful Arts is a small community based service with the aim of promoting psychological health, personal and social development. Our work explores creativity, self-expression and self-awareness through Art Therapy and Mindfulness Meditation.
We offer individual and group Art Therapy and / or Mindfulness sessions for adults of all abilities. No special art or meditation skills are required.
We are able to work with people with a range of different needs who might otherwise find it very difficult to access all of the many benefits that Art Therapy and Mindfulness Meditation has to offer. This includes people with a learning disability, people with mental health needs, people with dementia, older people and carers.
Our practitioners have a wide experience of working for the NHS and privately with adults with mental health problems, learning disabilities and members of the general public, using Art Therapy and Mindfulness Meditation.
We are Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registered and British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) approved private practitioners and supervisors.
We offer the following 4 different types of therapeutic sessions:
All of our sessions take place weekly at the Irvin House in Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire. Sessions can be booked and paid for in blocks of 6 or 12 weeks.
Sessions are available on an individual or group basis and must be booked and paid for in advance.
Please do get in touch if you are interested in finding out more – we would love to hear from you.
